Over the last 3-4 years, the company has developed the Road Construction Department by hiring some very experienced road builders and acquiring some great equipment that allows us to build and maintain our own roads for logging purposes. This means that the cost of the road construction can be rolled into the cost of the whole project, saving money for the client and making the system work more efficiently. We no longer have to wait for a sub-contractor to come to our site to build roads for us.
We now have the capability to build roads across any terrain or over and around any obstacles in order to make the logging project work. This includes, bridge or large fish-passable culvert installations, hard-rock drilling and blasting, deep fills and switchbacks, or any other challenging road access situation. We can also do road abandonment or Washington DNR mandated RMAP projects for small or large landowners.
